Laura Hollingsworth's 2017 Summary of Art

I got an instagram account this year and I've used my sketchbooks so much more as a result! That's probably the biggest development in my art this year.

I set up an Etsy shop which is going well.

Another thing has been the Greatus Hiatus (the hiatus of Chapter 17 of The Silver Eye so that I could finish redrawing the earlier chapters). It is close to being done, but not quite there yet. When I decided to take a break from new pages to redraw old ones I was afraid readers would lose interest and fall off a bit. I'm so grateful that the Nerdarians have been about as active as ever!

Earlier in the year I was working on a draining project that didn't work out. I've slowly been learning to do personal paintings again. I wish there were more works from The Silver Eye here.

I really like my photo and plein air studies I've done this year. Studies are wonderful and healthy and you should do some.
