Ok so quick break from The Silver Eye arts for a Star Wars painting!
I rewatched all of the movies in anticipation of The Force Awakens and in the theater I loved how Han and Leia's hug mirrored the one at the end of Return of the Jedi! It made me want to paint something like this, my only problem was that there was no way to do it without it being cheesy, so I had to fully embrace the cheese in the end.
I used some of the cool older Star Wars posters as inspiration. It was a challenge getting older Harrison Ford right, because his head isn't actually in-frame on that part in TFA, but I think I captured his likeness decently anyway with help of internet references.
